UK/US Set To Fund Floating Wind Turbine Projects

Seems like harmonious ways have reached a new high with UK US relations this week, at least on the green front. Both governments pledged to give millions in project funding for floating wind farms. This pact is the first of many set to be initiated this week at The Clean Energy Ministerial meeting in London. The wind turbines themselves are able to go deep into the sea where heavy winds are able to be captured, without the cost with developing anchors at the seabed.

We'll follow the meetings this week and any other agreements that spur from it. In the meantime, a little more on floating wind farms here.
